Fur De Lis Mobile Veterinary Services was created by Dr. Ashley, who is a New Orleans native that has been working in the metro area as a Small Animal General Practitioner since January of 2012. Dr. Ashley is a graduate of Destrehan High School. She attended the University of New Orleans for her BS in Psychology, after which she spent four years on the island of Grenada in the West Indies pursuing her Master's in Public Health and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at St. George's University. She spent her senior year of Veterinary clinical rotations at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Like so many New Orleanians, her studies took her abroad but her heart brought her home. Dr. Ashley desires to offer modern Veterinary medicine using the "old fashioned" housecall model of care to pets of the greater New Orleans area. When she isn't working, Dr. Ashley enjoys running in local races, watching Saints football, listening to live music, spending time with her pets and attending local festivals with friends and family. Dr. Ashley is passionate about the City of New Orleans and giving her 4-legged patients the best care she can offer. She is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA), Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (SLVMA), Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (LA/SPCA), Human Rights Campaign (HRC), and the Who Dat Nation.
